Mr. Barrett is a businessman and attorney with significant developmental experience. Mr. Barrett acted as general counsel and eventually chief executive officer of a publicly traded company, Video Lottery Technologies (VLT, NASDAQ). In the course of his experience with VLT, Mr. Barrett negotiated contracts throughout the United States and a number of foreign jurisdictions including Australia, France, various Canadian provinces and Puerto Rico. In his legal capacity Mr. Barrett has been significantly involved in land use planning and approvals, condominiums, hotels and golf course development. Mr. Barrett was also founder and co-developer of Mangrove Cay Club, a bone fishing lodge located on Andros Island in the Bahamas.
