The Tradition

The Tradition Golf Club in La Quinta, California is located on approximately 500 acres. It features 18 holes of championship golf on a course designed by Arnold Palmer. The beauty of its undulating green fairways against a backdrop of white bunkers and flowering waste areas make it appear like a painting. By any definition this course is world class.

The 27,000 square foot clubhouse was designed to complement an existing historical retreat on property that catered to the likes of our President’s Kennedy and Eisenhower. It is extremely warm, traditional and flowing in architectural design.

The real estate consists of 289 lots and approximately 4 Casitas. The lots range in price from $500,000 to $1,600,000. The Casitas range in price from $500,000 to $1,600,000.

Current memberships are $195,000.

Winchester’s Responsibilities Were To:

• Complete the entitlements
• Develop manage the project from start to finish
• Schedule all aspects of the project
• Coordinate the golf course designer and the clubhouse architect
• Value engineer all plans & specs
• Work with CVWD to design and implement a state-of-the-art flood control system and integrate it into the golf course design
• Assemble and manage all golf course, clubhouse, ancillary buildings utilities, roadways and housing pad disciplines and systems
• Maintain tight budget control
• Provide monthly fiscal progress reports
• Interview for hire, all key personnel
• Procure all maintenance equipment and the golf cart fleet
• Equip the clubhouse
• Oversee and provide input and oversite into the creation of all Club and HOA documents including membership, CC&R’s and Design Review Board
• Close-out project
